NFL Week 3 Madden 11 Roster Update Rolls In

With week 2 of the NFL season in the books and week 3 coming Sunday, the 5th Madden 11 roster update is now available. For better or for worse, EA’s Donny Moore has gone through and adjusted hundreds of players based on their performances. One star player was even awarded the elusive 100 rating in a category!

The NFL and Madden 11 seasons are really beginning to warm up. Offseason Super Bowl favorites such as the Dallas Cowboys and Minnesota Vikings both slipped to 0-2 while the Kansas City Chiefs and Tampa Bay Buccaneers, teams thought to be in the mix to draft #1 overall next year, both jump out of the gate at 2-0. Team ratings reflecting these odd turn of events have been tweaked in the latest Madden 11 roster update, and of course so have many individual player ratings.

New England Patriots WR Randy Moss becomes the first player this year to receive the ultimate sign of respect in the Madden world, a perfect 100 rating in a category of strength. The future Hall of Fame member now has a 100 spectacular catch rating following his truly spectacular one-handed grab over Darrelle Revis last Sunday. Has any player in history been more deserving of this feat?
