Madden Facebook App To Superstar on Social Network

The NFL season can’t get here soon enough, and Madden 11 is doing a fantastic job replicating the action until then, but there’s always room for more football. Always there to capitalize on eager football fans, EA SPORTS and Playfish have announced the debut of the new Madden Facebook app, Madden NFL Superstars.

Following the precedence of the highly successful FIFA Superstars Facebook app, Madden NFL Superstars now gives anyone the ability to casually play Madden on their computer browser. Madden NFL Superstars is 100% free (albeit in the same way Madden Ultimate Team is “free”) and has several features loyal fans have come to love in the Madden franchise, as well as unique new modes only available in the app. If beating your friends in Madden 11 over the Xbox 360 or PS3 wasn’t enough, now you can own them in your social network too in the Madden Facebook app.

Madden NFL Superstars is a dynamic team management game that features fun and accessible game play, more than 1,500 current players from all 32 NFL 2010 team rosters, and all-new game modes that allow fans to play head-to-head or against the millions of other Facebook users. In Season mode, players compete in increasingly challenging matchups against other player’s teams through a progressive ladder to earn championship trophies. NFL Pro League mode puts players’ Madden NFL Superstars teams to the extreme test to compete for supremacy in a series of contests against each of this season’s actual NFL teams. Scrimmage mode thrusts players into head-to-head contests against their real life Facebook friends for ultimate bragging rights.
