Madden 12 Gets Physical With New Gameplay

Madden 12 is still a few months away from release, but that hasn’t stopped EA Sports from showcasing its new collision system, fresh off their Facebook page.

Madden 12 Gets Physical

By now, many of you have already seen the brief, not too revealing trailers on gameplay and presentation for the upcoming Madden 12. If that didn’t fully satisfy your football appetite, then fear not, because the Madden team has just released a brand new video showcasing the new Madden 12 gameplay enhancements in greater depth.

The eight minute long video is delivered as a “Virtual Playbook,” where popular players and members of the Madden development team discuss the apparent differences in terms of gameplay from Maddens of the past, and Madden NFL 12. Although the video covers a number of improvements, the most notable is far and away the new collisions system, which hopes to move Madden past an ugly era of suction tackles, and a lack of more than one player truly influencing a tackle.

Now, with added momentum and a finer tackling detection system, the gameplay side of Madden 12 is looking good to fans, as well as critics early on. Check out the full video below to get a sneak peek at Madden 12 gameplay, then drop your comments below and let us know what you’re thinking.

    Wen u are running the ball can u add more break tackles because the ones now r really basic and please fix cpu a.i because i love to play on all-madden but i make my own custom gameplay rating because on madden 2011 no matter wat runningback u r up against they constantly break at least 3 tackles a play and rip off big runs and i know wat ur saying maybe im not good enough i am undeafeated online wen i play but Ian cummings or anyone else if u wanna try go ahead.

    Hahaha, the gameplay looks awesome but I am a little disheartened that the graphics aren’t the top notch like the latest games, however it still looks acceptable. Can you please use system requirements for this game?
