Madden 12 Cowboys Ratings (Players)

Madden 12 Cowboys Ratings

Madden 12 demo testing is well underway and today we get to see how one of Madden 11′s most popular teams stacks up this year with the Madden 12 Cowboys ratings.

The Cowboys had hopes of having homefield advantage in the Super Bowl last year, but those dreams quickly turned into nightmares as losses and key injuries quickly accumulated. The Cowboys’ 82 overall team rating is still solid however, and with elite players like OLB DeMarcus Ware (98 overall) and Jason Witten (96 overall), Dallas could remain a common Madden pick in ’12.

Four of the Cowboys’ best starters are shown below along with the link for the whole Dallas roster. After checking those out, remember to stick around tell us your first thoughts.

Dallas Cowboys suggested changes. . .

Jason Witten: Catch rating is finally where it should be!

Tony Romo: Play Action is still off (66) should be at least 75-87 he sells the play fake so well with little to no run game. His carry is off as well at 49 he’s protected the ball much better these past two years.

Terence Newman: tackle (40) is still off along with his block shed (23) Tackle should be at least 68 . . . block shed should be 55. Newman is physical, he’s a better tackler than Mike Jenkins (the ratings say otherwise). Newman had 79 tackles last season (77 solo) . . . a 68 rating isn’t to much to ask for.

Another thing with Newman, his coverage skills are a bit too high. He’s regressed some. . . also he’s still fast but not 97 speed fast. He’s around 93-94 now (he’s lost a step) and his injury rating should be much lower than an 84 (try 73).

Sean Lee: Deserves higher than a 73, his coverage ratings are a bit to low. He made some nice plays in his rookie campaign and showed a lot of promise!

DeMarco Murray: Carry rating is underrated (74).

David Buelher: Kick Accuracy is far to high for how poorly he’s doing in camp 75-76 max

Kyle Kosier: Move to right guard

David Arkin: Is our starting left guard at the moment.

Victor Butler: Plays ROLB not LOLB

Brandon Williams: Plays LOLB not ROLB

    Outside of that. . . I’m satisfied!
