Madden 12 Cover Voting is One Big Tournament

Earlier this month we broke the news that the Madden 12 cover details would be arriving shortly, and today EA has revealed its most impressive decision yet: A 32 player cover voting bracket.

If you were expecting Aaron Rodgers or Michael Vick to take over the Madden NFL 12 cover, then not so fast. EA has just announced a 32 player tournament voting bracket with a representative of each team, with the winner to grace the prestigious-if-not-sometimes-cursed Madden NFL cover.

EA: “Vote for the cover of Madden NFL 12! Tune in to ESPN’s “SportsNation” today (March 21) at 4pm ET to see the full Madden NFL 12 cover athlete bracket. You’ll be able to participate in a bracket-style voting campaign featuring a candidate from all 32 NFL teams on www.ESPN.com/MaddenVote once the sites goes live at 4pm ET. Don’t forget to fill out your bracket here on Facebook for a chance to variety of prizes!”

Although the message has stated that the brackets wouldn’t be revealed until 4PM EST, they can already be found in full right here on the sportsnation website.

Perhaps the most interesting entries in the bracket are Patriots RB Danny Woodhead, who is filling in for Tom Brady who is missing from the Madden nominees (Jerod Mayo would of been a much better option), and a possible second round matchup between Maurice Jones-Drew and Tim Tebow.
