Just because you wan’t to buy Madden 12 this year, doesn’t mean you have to burn your wallet. Amazon is offering a special deal to Madden fans that is sure to please.

Last year Amazon offered $20 back toward future purchases for fans that pre-ordered Madden NFL 11, and this year that deal is back when you buy Madden NFL 12. Although the deal is only available for the Xbox 360 and PS3 versions, the ability to receive $20 off your next grab from Amazon seems like a great deal to see renewed once again.

Amazon Special: “Order Madden NFL 12 for the PS3 or Xbox 360 and receive $20 in Amazon credit good toward the purchase of items shipped and sold by Amazon.com (certain exclusions apply, including Kindle books, MP3s, and video rentals and downloads). The promotional credit will be added directly to your Amazon.com account within two days after your order ships. Offer valid when shipped and sold by Amazon.com. This offer will be extended to all existing pre-orders. Limit one per household. Amazon reserves the right to change or terminate this promotion at any time.”

It should be noted that Amazon will only credit you with the $20 toward future purchases two days after your order has shipped, to ensure no one tries to cheat the system. Still, if you’re someone like me who does their purchasing pretty much exclusively from Amazon, then this will be hard to pass up. The idea of getting $20 off something like Diablo 3 this year just because we bought Madden 12 sounds good to us. Or maybe we’ll spend the $20 to chip in for an NFL-stylized controller, but that’s just us.

The special offer didn’t last long last year, so if you intend to buy Madden NFL 12 this season then it might be a good idea to pre-order it from Amazon as soon as possible. Previously, the $20 deal was extended to everyone who had already pre-ordered and only a few that pre-ordered after the announcement.
