Backbreaker PS3 Demo Delayed?

Ever since Friday Xbox Live Gold members have been playing the new Backbreaker demo, with the promise that a PS3 version would likely be made available by Tuesday (today). Unfortunately, rumblings indicate that may not be the case.

Backbreaker PS3 Demo Delayed?

Brian Parker over on TheSportsGeeks.com is reporting on his Twitter to have received word that the demo is unlikely to drop today, and is more likely to be available as early as June 1st, and as late as June 8th. Yes, in case you were wondering, 505 Games’ football video game is set to release on June 1st, meaning some fans might have to buy the game before demoing it if they want to snag it on release day.

Assuming this is not a clerical error on either Brian Parker, or the Backbreaker public relations team, this would be yet another set back on a long list of delays that Backbreaker has seen in one way or another. We have no way of knowing if the possible delay is a technical one, or in response to recent impressions of the Backbreaker demo.
