Backbreaker Video Diary #3 Released

It was only a few days ago that we all got an inside look at the Backbreaker intro trailer, and now we’re hearing straight from the developers themselves with the release of the third installment in the Backbreaker Dev Diary series.

Whereas Diary #2 focused more on the unique Euphoria engine that makes Backbreaker possible, the third diary focuses more on the camera system of the upcoming title, and the decisions that were made with it to better engage players in the experience.

Dev Diary: “Now that we have this camera, I think it’s quite apparent that we would never want to go back anyway [to a traditional view]. Charging down the sidelines you know, about to get a touchdown, it just feels so much more real. Especially if there is a guy behind you and you slowly see his shadow creep up, you know, and there is that anticipation of ‘Am I going to get there? Am I going to get there? Do I want to showboat? Do I have enough time to do that?’ It just makes it so much more intense, it just makes it so much more exciting.”
